Readiness combines several daily signals into a view of how prepared you are
for a demanding session today.

## Signals

- **Resting heart rate** — a rise above your baseline often precedes fatigue or
illness.
- **Heart-rate variability (HRV)** — higher values generally indicate a
recovered, parasympathetically-dominant state.
- **Sleep** — duration and consistency relative to your own history.

## How to read it

Runima compares each signal to *your* rolling baseline rather than population
norms, so the readout reflects your normal — not a generic target. A low
readiness day is a cue to keep effort easy, not necessarily to skip training.
