Runima imports recorded runs as FIT or TCX, a full Garmin data export, Garmin
CSV exports, and supported Amazfit / Zepp archive CSVs. Export your files and upload them without linking
your watch account. You can repeat imports as your history grows.

Available analysis depends on the measurements in your export. Workout files
do not automatically include daily sleep, HRV or recovery history.

## Garmin data export (full history)

1. Open [Garmin's data management page](https://www.garmin.com/account/datamanagement/)
and choose **Export Your Data**. Garmin emails a download link, usually within
a few days.
2. Drop the downloaded ZIP on Runima's import page as is. The nested
**UploadedFiles** ZIPs with your original FIT recordings are extracted in
your browser. An already extracted export folder works too: drop it, or
pick it with **Choose folder**.

Runima keeps only what it uses: running FIT recordings, activity titles,
favorites, Body Battery drain and perceived effort (RPE and feel) from the
activity summaries, and daily health data — sleep and its stages, nightly HRV
with your baseline range, overnight and resting HR, all-day and sleep stress,
Body Battery, Pulse Ox, respiration, steps, intensity minutes, VO₂max and
weight. Other sports and the thousands of device and monitoring files are
skipped in your browser before upload. Times use the UTC offsets the export
records for each day, so no timezone choice is needed.

## Garmin Connect CSV exports

For recent data, Garmin Connect exports each data type from its own page. Sign
in on the web, open each link below, and click the **Export** button to download
a CSV:

- **Activities** — [Running activities](https://connect.garmin.com/app/activities?activityType=running). Exports all your runs at once.
- **Sleep & recovery** — <garmin-sleep-link>

Sleep report

</garmin-sleep-link>

. Four weeks at a time.
- **VO₂max** — [VO₂max report](https://connect.garmin.com/app/report/21/all/last_four_weeks). Four weeks at a time.

<callout color="info" icon="ph:info-duotone">

Sleep and VO₂max can only be exported four weeks at a time. Repeat the export
for earlier ranges to build your full history. For sleep, change the date in the
URL to the end of the period you want. The sleep CSV's HRV column is a 7-day
average; HRV that a data export already imported as nightly values is kept.

## Amazfit / Zepp

1. Open [Zepp's privacy support page](https://www.zepp.com/privacy-support#export_data),
or use **Profile → Settings → Exercising user rights → Export data** in Zepp.
2. Request the date range you need and download the archive.
3. Drop the ZIP on Runima's import page and enter its password if asked, or
drop the extracted folder. Runima reads **SPORT**, **SLEEP**, **BODY**, **ACTIVITY**,
**HEARTRATE_AUTO** and **SLEEP_MINUTE** from it.

Runima imports running summaries, sleep duration and stages, weight and daily
movement. Minute-level HR can enrich matching runs and sleep, and gives a daily
resting HR: the lowest 30-minute average of the day, as Garmin defines it. Days
with too few readings get none. Later exports,
including HR-only files, can enrich previously imported Amazfit summaries
without duplicating runs. Sparse readings do not become invented measurements;
HRV, GPS and vendor sleep/recovery scores cannot be reconstructed.

Unknown sport codes, manual spot HR, profile information and unsupported
archive files are intentionally excluded.

## Other watches

COROS, Suunto, Polar and Apple Watch exporters can provide recorded runs as FIT
or TCX. Compatibility is experimental and depends on the exporter; follow the
source-specific instructions on the import page. Prefer FIT when available.

## Import into Runima

1. Go to **Dashboard → Import**.
2. Choose the historical **Timezone for timestamps without an offset**.
This applies to Garmin activity CSVs and Amazfit minute records, not timestamps
that already include an offset. It does not change your profile timezone.
3. Drop in the supported files or folders from your export, then click **Import files**.
4. Review the per-file results, including coverage warnings and intentionally
skipped records. Matching runs merge rather than creating duplicates.

Once the import finishes, your dashboards populate automatically.
